Vikrant Massey has recently become the father of a son and he shared this happiness with his fans. Meanwhile, he gave an interview to Pinkvilla in which he told that when he used to give auditions for films, he did not have money and his wife helped him a lot.
Wife is Vikrant Massey’s support system
Vikrant Massey does not hesitate in saying anything. In his interviews he often talks about his days of struggle. Vikrant also told that after leaving TV, she used to support him financially when he went for film auditions.
According to Pinkvilla, Vikrant Massey said, ‘After starting with TV, at the age of just 24, I started earning around Rs 35 lakh every month. This is a huge amount for a middle class family. Everything was going well for me but still I decided to leave television and moved towards films. Vikrant further told that his savings reduced due to which his period of stress started. During this time, Sheetal Thakur (who was his girlfriend at that time and is now his wife) started giving him money from her savings to go to the audition.
In the year 2007, Vikrant Massey started his acting career with the serial named ‘Dhoom Machao Dhoom’. But she got popularity from the popular show of that era, Balika Vadhu. After this he worked in serials like Baba Aiso Var Dhundho, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Kabul Hai, Dharam Veer. In the year 2013, Vikrant Massey made his Bollywood debut with the film Lootera in which the lead actors were Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha. After this, Vikrant worked in films and web series like Haseen Dilruba, Mirzapur, Forensic, Ginny Weds Sunny, 14 Phere, Love Hostel, Half Girlfriend, Gaslight and 12th Fail.
